Seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher will retire from Formula One at the end of the season. Michael Schumacher is the oldest player in Formula One with over 200 races and 17 years in this game.
In his honor, the officials at Nurburding will name a section in this famous circuit after Michael. The section that is now called “Audi-S” will be named “Schumacher-S”. Michael will complete a special lap of honor before 2007 German Grand Prix on July 22. “I am very proud of this honor which they have given me” he said.
“Schumacher is the greatest driver in the history of German motor sport” said the director of the race track Walter Kaffitz.
Everyone will remember him as one of the greatest, and most controversial, drivers in the history of Formula One.
