Formula 1 Corruption

The corruption in Formula 1 is investigated by the international federation. The teams Ferrari and McLaren-Mercedes are involved in an espionage case that took place before The Grand Prix in Monte Carlo. Then the Ferrari team seemed to be the victim of a sabotage when the Ferrari mechanics found a weird white powder near the gas tanks. The International Federation of Automobilist (IFA) announced that it began an investigation after they heard about this.
The world’s forum’s specialists remitted a statement where it is specified that the investigation will take into account The Sportsman International Code and the Formula 1 regulation. The statement shows that IFA opened an investigation with the total cooperation of the two teams involved, McLaren-Mercedes and Ferrari. The McLaren-Mercedes team announced that they suspended an important technical responsible that is suspected to be involved in the investigation. The Ferrari team informed the Modena’s law-court in connection with Nigel Stepney and a McLaren-Mercedes engineer for technical information theft. Stepney was previously mentioned being suspended because he referred to sabotage before The Grand Prix of Monacco and according to autosport.com, Ferrari drop out of his services dew to the internal disciplinary procedures.
"A justice action was started in Great Britain and a search warren for the McLaren engineer was obtained" underlined Ferrari that also said "We reserve the right to study all the implication of this case, no matter their nature in concordance with the present legislation."
Instead, McLaren announced that, after an internal investigation, found out that there is no intellectual property of Ferrari reached any employee of McLaren team. McLaren informed IFA and Ferrari about these events to answer all the worries caused by this situation. McLaren invited IFA to analyze every detail of its mono-posts to assure the team that it didn’t profit of any intellectual element that is a property of any rival team.
